FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS POLICY

Flight and Booking Policy

Booking is essential.
Flights and costs are subject to availability, confirmed passenger and baggage weights.
Flights are subject to weather conditions on the day of travel.
All flight times are estimates and may be affected by weather, air traffic control and other conditions of the day.
Flights are conducted under VisualFlight Rules (VFR) and are limited to daylight operations only.
All passengers are required to reconfirm their flight with our office at least 24 hours in advance at +39 375 6254 757. Reservations not reconfirmed may be subject to rescheduling or cancellation.

 

Flight Cancellation Policy

Unless specified, most of our flights may be changed without penalty up to 48 hours prior to departure, subject to availability.
Elicompany reserves the right to cancel or postpone flights due to weather, safety or operational needs. We also reserve the right to change the helicopter model with another offering the same standards, in case of technical issue. Safety is our primary consideration in all operations and we will accept no compromise to safety standards.

 

For bookings in Sardina and Corsica during Summer 2021 season, due to uncertain market situation caused by Covid pandemy, Elicompany reserves the right to change the booked helicopter model. The Client, only in case of change of the booked helicopter model,will have the right to:
– Cancel the booking and get a full refund
– Choose a higher category helicopter, paying only by relative cost difference
– Choose a lower category model, obtaining the cost difference refund

In the event of a cancellation by Elicompany, no charge will be made to the client.

 

The following charges apply to cancellations by clients, excluding the case of change of the helicopter model described above:
– After flight confirmation: 20% charge of full fare
– Between 17 and 7 days before departure: 30% charge of full fare
– Between 7 days and 72 hours before departure: 50% charge of full fare
– Between 72 and 24 hours before departure: 75% charge of full fare
– Less than 24 hours notice: 100% charge of full fare
In the event that a booking is made with Elicompany and the passenger(s) fail to arrive (‘No Show’) at the nominated date and time without having contacted our staff, the client will be charged in full.

 

Weather Limitations

In line with our Flight Cancellation Policy, additional costs incurred by Elicompany in preparation for any operation that is subsequently cancelled due to weather will be charged to the client in full. These may include ground operations, landing fees or specific aircraft reconfiguration and repositioning charges.
As safety is our primary consideration,Elicompany will take a conservative approach and restrict or cancel flight operations in inclement or marginal weather. Weather conditions associated with poor visibility, low cloud, extreme winds, low light levels and thunderstorms present circumstances that may limit or restrict flight.
Elicompany will make every effort to advise clients in advance of forecast weather conditions that may restrict flight operations. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of the potential for delay or cancellation in order to provide clients with as much time as possible for alternative transport to be arranged or to reschedule as necessary.

 

Payment

All prices, unless otherwise stated, include VAT when applicable.
Booking Security – A form of booking security is required at the time of reservation. This can be provided by using a valid credit card or a company Purchase Order for clients approved by Elicompany to pay by account.
Payment – the balance is required upon confirmation of the flight by Elicompany
Payment can be made by American Express ( a 4% fee apply), VISA, MasterCard, wire transfer or cash. Cash payments are limited to Euro 3.000,00.

 

Refunds

Refunds are not available for services provided but not utilised by a client. Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds except as defined in our cancellation policy. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit when your flight has been cancelled by Elicompany.
All refunds will be made to the payee by the method of payment received.

 

Passenger Manifesting Requirements

Helicopters and airplanes have a maximum weight capacity as well as other restrictions on that govern the balance of the aircraft and help to ensure the safety of all our guests. Occasionally, to satisfy these safety requirements it may be necessary to split your group across more than one flight. Passengers may be verbally asked about their weight at time of check in.
Elicompany may require each passenger to present a valid photo ID in order to board an aircraft.In case of flights to foreign Countries, it is passengers’ responsibility to make sure they hold all necessary and valid documents as required by Custom and Immigration Authorities

 

Infants and Children

Due to limited seating capacity on helicopters, all passengers are required to pay the full seat price, except where an infant is under 2 years of age. One infant may travel free of charge as long as the infant is seated or a parent or guardian’s knee. Elicompany will provide one infant loop belt restraint in this situation.

 

Baggage

Light handbags and small backpacks are permitted on flights. Larger or heavier items are permitted by prior arrangement, subject to confirmed size and weight.
Dangerous goods as specified by aviation regulations are not permitted on Elicompany flights.
Elicompany will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused in the handling of passengers equipment, property or luggage, including as a result of negligence.

 

Passenger Refusal Policy

Elicompany, in accordance with European Aviation Law, reserves the right to refuse any passenger who, in the opinion of the pilot, may provide a hazard to aviation or to the safety and comfort of other passengers. Passengers may be refused for reasons including but not limited to: perceived intoxication; erratic, offensive or threatening behaviour; or implied risk to the safety of the flight. A pilot or staff member’s decision to refuse a passenger is final and will be upheld. In the event a passenger is refused, full charges may apply.

 

Insurance

Elicompany is fully insured for all operations we undertake, including passenger liability insurance, as required by European Aviation Law.
