Exploring Portofino
The small, protected harbour is surrounded by colorful houses with beautiful café and excellent fish restaurants, while on the main road there are many classy shops and some interesting art galleries. On the sea, tiny fishing boats lie alongside to modern, luxury yachts.
The most luxury place where to stay in Portofino is undoubtedly the Belmond Splendido Hotel, formerly an old monastir established in 1400 that have been renovated into a luxury resort with a beautiful view over the Tigullio gulf.
